WebSite Tonight® FAQ's

How do I make my site live on the Internet?

WebSite Tonight's Publish Web Site feature makes it easy to publish a Web site to the Internet.

If you're publishing your Web site for the first time, you'll publish all of your pages. If you've already published your Web site, you can publish only the pages you made changes to. For information about publishing selected pages, see Publishing Selected pages.

Note: It can take 24 to 48 hours for your Web site to be display on the Internet. This is due to domain propagation. Domain propagation is the period of time required to notify domain name servers worldwide. The amount of time for propagation varies depending on your Internet Service Provider.

To Publish Your Web Site

  1. Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
  2. From the Manage menu, click Publish.
  3. If necessary, select Publish Web Site.
  4. To publish your entire Web site, click Publish All.

Tip: If this is your first time publishing your Web site, Publish All is your only option.

  5. To publish only pages you made changes to, click Publish Updates.
