How do I enable ASP.NET 2.0 on my Windows hosting account?

You can enable ASP.NET 3.5 on your new Windows hosting account during or after account set up. Currently, only new Windows hosting accounts using IIS 7 can run ASP.NET 3.5

Note: As of February 29, 2008, this is only applicable to new hosting accounts.

Note: ASP.NET 3.5 runtime is backward compatible with versions 3.0 and 2.0.

To Enable ASP.NET 3.5 on Your Existing Hosting Account

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, select Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to modify, click Manage Account.
  4. In the Content section of the Hosting Control Center, click the Add on languages icon.
  5. Select ASP.NET 2.0/3.0/3.5.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Click Update.
