Backordering FAQ's
Setting Up DomainAlert Pro Monitoring
You can add DomainAlert Pro Monitoring to specific domains, allowing you to monitor changes made to those domains. We send
email updates to you within 24 hours of when a change is made to the monitored
domain.
To Set Up DomainAlert Pro Monitoring
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
- From the Buy/Sell menu, select Backorders and Monitoring.
- Click Add Monitoring.
- In the Add Monitoring box, enter the domain(s) you want to monitor, one domain name per line, and then click Next. Do not include the "www" prefix.
- In the Email address 1 field, enter the email address to which you want us to send notifications.
- (Optional) To receive email updates at another address, in the Email address 2 field, enter the email address.
- Click Next.
- From the Number of credits to use list, select the number of credits you want to apply, and then click Next.
NOTE: The number of credits in the list are the credits you have available for the transaction. If you do not have enough credits, you continue to your shopping cart to complete a domain monitoring purchase.
- Click OK.
